Lack of access to basic drinking water

According to the data from WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme (JMP), in 2015 almost 844 million people lacked even a basic drinking water service. This is defined as drinking water from an improved source, provided collection time is not more than 30 minutes for a round trip.
